2010 Concert for Critters Bands

Exit 40
Exit 40 is not just a freeway off-ramp – it is the name of a local variety band that has enjoyed bringing the sounds of country, old-time rock and roll, and standards to many valley clubs over the past few years.  Exit 40 brings years of entertainment experience to the stage.  As individuals, they have been involved in different musical projects, including writing and recording their own songs, and playing in various cover bands.  They draw on their wealth of experience to make each event a fun and memorable time for all.  Exit 40 is lead by Jay Farris on vocals, guitar, and keyboards.  Visit www.exit40band.com for more information on Exit 40.
Rattlesnake Necktie
Rattlesnake Necktie covers the nearly forgotten B-side gems from rock and blues greats like Freddie King, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Crosby, Stills and Nash, Etta James, Tom Petty, and Coco Montoya among many others.  A little funky, a little edgy and a whole lot bluesy – this four piece group is made up of TJ Dyer – lead vocals, Dan “the Man” Feehan – lead guitar, Chris “Millhouse” Payne – bass, and “Smooth” John Schmidt – drums.
The Surf Guitar Villains
The Surf Guitar Villains play diverse original American music. They are retro-rock surf punk rock folk band in Arizona that plays for the enjoyment of the crowd and themselves, with under polished and off beat tunes, seeks to capture the romantic view of a bygone era in the 21st century, with their take on garage, surf and psychedelic sounds.  They have been around  in various forms for about a decade, and have been playing in the Phoenix area since 2007.
Members Include:
Paul Aguilar – Bass
Paul Baker – Fiddle
David Van Druff, Guitar, bass and vocals
Don Martin – Lead Guitar and Vocals
Bobby Prechtl – Percussion,/Drums
Bill Swortwood – Guitar/ Harmonica and Vocals
The Surf Guitar Villains have played at the 2009 Woofstock show here in Chandler, at the Fiesta Bowl Block Party, and backed up American Indian Artist James Luna at his Oct 2010 live show in Mesa. They can be found at the local music scene in Mesa and the East Valley, and proudly play for Woofstock whenever asked.
The Surf Guitar Villains have 6 independently produced album on CDBaby and ITunes.
Come Back Buddy
Come Back Buddy is a professional touring trio covering the music of Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry, and many other artists.
Their music is pure Americana.  They’ve entertained for thousands in large venues as well as private parties.  Come Back Buddy has played P.F. Chang’s Rock and Roll Marathon and just returned from L.A. where we played the world famous Whiskey A Go Go.  They get people up and dancing.  They’ve performed on “Good Morning Arizona” on multiple occasions.  Come Back Buddy regularly performs in western states with California and Arizona as our main hubs.
The band is fronted by Mike Randall, providing rich vocals and exciting guitar lines.  Janine Randall and Carlos Almeida accompany Mike on Bass and Drums.
So if you’re looking to turn the clock back for that sock-hop, that 50′s/60′s themed event or just want to hear some great music, Come Back Buddy is the band for you!

Year Round Tips For Pets! – NEW FEATURE

Enjoy fun and useful tips that will help that special member of the family!  These tips will change from time to time, so visit often.
It gets very hot in Arizona early in the year and stays hot through early fall.  Make smart choices for your pet.
  • NEVER leave your pet in a parked car, even with the windows open.  An animal’s body temperature can rise in just seconds, causing heat-related problems or even death.  Normal body temperature for dogs and cats is between 101 and 103 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Walk your pet on cooler surfaces to protect his feet from burning.  If the pavement is too hot for you to hold your hand on for more then a few seconds, it’s much too hot for your pet’s paws.
  • Keep walks to a minimum.  Your pet is much closer to the hot pavement and its body can heat up very quickly.

Customer Testimonial from Dan in Gilbert, Arizona

We met Rob at the farmer’s market in Gilbert. He took the time to answer all of our questions and it was obvious that he knew what he was talking about. We set up a consultation and I was sold. Rob has a unique approach to dog training that our 3 dogs immediately responded to. There’s no scolding or punishment – just replacing bad habits with what you want them to do. We are now halfway through our sessions and it’s easy to see how passionate Rob is about helping people. He will work around your schedule and make sure you have what you need. I can’t recommend Lose the Leash enough.

Video: Training a Vizsla that’s Aggressive with Strangers at the Door

In this video you’ll see a LOSE THE LEASH Dog Training client training his Vizsla from start to finish. As you can see, we will work with you and your dog in YOUR home so that YOU learn how to manage your dog. The beginning of the video shows that this dog is not particularly friendly with strangers at the front door. The other clips show how quickly and effectively that our training has empowered the owner to get his dog composed and under control.

We understand that not all dogs behave perfectly, that’s what we fix! We are comfortable working with aggressive dogs, shy dogs, dominant dogs, toy crazy dogs, overly social dogs, puppies and older dogs too. In order to demonstrate how safe, effective and fun our training methods are, we come you your home for a FREE In-Home dog training demo with YOUR DOG.
