My husband and I wanted to take a moment to thank you for your service. We are expecting our 1st baby in July and our objective was to make sure that we knew how to maintain good lines of communication between us and our dog Myo. It had been years since our dog had any formal training and he is stubborn. Rob initially came over for a Free In-Home Demonstration and assessed our concerns. He also demonstrated his methods with one of his dogs. We have been working with Lose The Leash since March and Myo has improved leaps and bounds! By using the special collar we are able to better communicate with Myo as well as get his attention in the event he gets distracted. This ability to capture his attention coupled with our constancy to use the same commands has allowed us to keep Myo engaged and follow our lead. We are even more excited to report that Myo has been successful off leash. Myo just turned 8 Years old and I have always been way too nervous to try this and he is now having a blast at the group classes playing with the other dogs and we are still able to have him come to us at our request. Our only regret is that we did not do this sooner! We would recommend Erin & Rob to anyone interested in 1st time training, refresher training, and/or socializing activities for your dog(s). This has been a great experience! Thank you.
Sincerely,
Nikki, Gerardo, & Myo

Last year Hornblower Cruises collected thousands of blankets and towels and had hundreds of attendees with their dogs take advantage of their dogs being allowed on Harbor Cruises!
Tickets for a one hour Harbor Cruise can be used any time when you come back in 2010.
Dogs must be on a leash and are allowed to ride along on a one-hour cruise.
According to John Van Zante from HWAC, “When heavy winter rains forced Helen Woodward Animal Center to evacuate orphaned dogs and cats from their kennels the donated blankets and towels gave them comfort.” He said, “This also created an urgent need to replace those supplies that were lost during the flood. Your donation of a new or gently used blanket or towel will help to keep an orphan warm and cozy until its new family takes it to its forever home.”

PET DAY RULES and POLICIES
Things to consider to make this a nice and SAFE day for everyone!!!
ONE DOG PER PERSON ON THE CRUISE. ALL DOGS MUST BE ON A LEASH.
BE AWARE OF YOUR DOG AT ALL TIMES! Animals aren’t accustom to boats, gangways and loud horns, keep your eyes on your dog to assist them.
Only one dog will be allowed to board with one person. NO EXCEPTIONS even if they are small dogs!!! If you have two dogs, bring a friend to hold the leash of the 2nd dog.
Dogs must be “social” and get along with other people and other dogs or you will not be able to cruise.
If your dog seems upset by other dogs, this will be very obvious to us. If the dog displays bad behavior, you will be asked by a Hornblower crewmember to leave the boarding line and NOT to ride the cruise –if there is any problem, we will contact Harbor Police to solve challenge.
(The good news is that you will be given a coupon to come back another time to cruise without your dog!)
If your dog gets in an altercation with another dog that causes some nip or cut, Hornblower is not responsible for the treatment or vet charges you might experience. Sorry, this is why we want you to be protective of your animal at all times during boarding and on board!
If your dog has an accident onboard, please do your best to clean it up with your dog waste bag and place in dog waste only recepticles and inform a Hornblower crewmember so we can do a heavier cleaning after!
Thanks.
